Wounded Warrior

Amputee Softball Team

The national Wounded Warrior Amputee Softball Team represents some of our nation’s bravest and most determined heroes, soldiers and veterans. These extremely athletic men have sustained severe injuries resulting in amputation while serving in the military/war, and through extensive rehabilitation, they have become competitive athletes again. Together they comprise the national Wounded Warrior Amputee Softball Team, which travels the world playing abled-bodied teams in competitive, celebrity and exhibition softball games, bringing their special brand of softball, courage and inspiration.

The wounded warrior southlake softball tournament is co-hosted by:

  • The City of Southlake
  • Southlake Wounded Warrior Softball Tourney, Inc., a Texas non-profit company whose 25 member steering committee includes business persons, former pro athletes, coaches and sports parents
  • The Carroll ISD Girls Softball and Boys Baseball Teams
